On 2nd October this year I will be running the London marathon to raise funds for Cancer Focus NI. London will be my ninth marathon, and the final one of the six marathon majors (New York, Tokyo, Boston, Chicago, Berlin and London).
Cancer Focus NI is our local cancer charity, providing invaluable advice and support to people from all walks of life in Northern Ireland who are dealing with cancer. They also fund research into the treatment and prevention of this illness, which affects nearly all of us at some point, whether directly or through family or friends.
